Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour: Senate Warns Ticketmaster; Says”We’re Watching”

Kendall Parks is from Cincinnati Ohio. He's into sports and an avid listener of throwback hip hop all the time. He's really big on Black Politics.

The BeyHive has been in a frenzy since Beyoncé unveiled the full lineup for her upcoming Renaissance World Tour. The U.S. Senate had a message for Ticketmaster as the presale date approaches.

As the BeyHive gears up to see Queen Bey perform at her Renaissance World Tour, the U.S. Senate is hovering in on the action. In fact, the Senate Judiciary Committee took to Twitter to post a message to Ticketmaster, saying, “We’re Watching, Ticketmaster.”

The scrutiny follows after Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour fiasco. In November 2022, thousands of “verified” Taylor Swift fans complained about not receiving a code that would allow them access to the presale event.

Some were sent malfunctioning codes which still hindered them from obtaining the tickets even after being charged a fee. According to TMZ, fans alleged fraud and sued Ticketmaster’s parent company Live Nation along with requesting the court to hit the company with a civil fine of $2500 per violation.
