Lil Yachty’s upcoming album Sonic Ranch has reportedly leaked online, as fans of the rapper began reporting news of a leak on Christmas Day.
There are reportedly 13 songs on the album with titles like “The Ride,” “Running Out of Time,” “Blind,” “Say Something,” “Paint The Sky,” “Should I Be,” “The Alchemist,” “Reach The Sunshine” and more. Yachty himself seemed to react to the reported leak by posting a since-deleted sad face emoji on Twitter, but fans have adamantly encouraged the “Poland” rapper that they’ll ignore the leaked tracks.
“If you’re a real Yachty fan you won’t go anywhere near that leak,” one fan wrote on Twitter. “Not streaming lil yachty leaks he deserves his real streams, added another.
Yachty isn’t the only rapper to experience a leak this month, Young Nudy was the victim of a massive 172 song leak earlier in December, with the Atlanta rapper vowing to hunt down those responsible.
“I’ma say this shit one time, bro. I don’t know if y’all know, I’m not like other rappers, bro,” he said on Instagram. “I’m 100 percent finna take my time out to find out 100 percent who exactly is leaking my music.
“And I’m 100 percent gonna pull up at whatever studio it is and I’m 100 percent gon’ beat your ass, on my momma.”
The leak comes as Lil Yachty closes out 2022 with a bang. The Georgia rapper most recently played a heavy part in crafting Drake and 21 Savage’s joint album Her Loss, not only choosing the project’s cover art but contributing production and ad-libs to a handful of tracks.
“I chose this cover because this photo is so raw. So authentic. Not fabricated. Suki can and will only be Suki,” Yachty said of the striking portrait of Qui Yasuka for the Her Loss cover.
Lil Boat also came to Drizzy’s defense over his bars on the song “Circo Loco,” which many saw as a subliminal diss at Megan Thee Stallion. Yachty clarified that the 6 God was merely speaking on women with fake butts.
“I’mma clear this line up cuz I know Drake’s not gonna do it,” he said during a recent Instagram Live session. “[It] had nothing to do with Megan. It’s just about women lying about their butt being real when it’s not. And like ‘stallion’ as in ‘she’s still fine.’ Like a stallion! That was it.”
The last legitimate solo tape fans got from Yachty was 2021’s Michigan Boy Boat, which peaked at No. 39 on the Billboard 200 and featured appearances from Tee Grizzley, Swae Lee, Louie Ray, Babyface Ray and others.
