This is Morro do Chapadão, near Pavuna, one of the currently most dangerous favelas in the city. This guy went there only because he was invited by someone he knew and apparently trusted, he went to a “Baile Funk”, a wild party, stretching until 8 in the morning.

Don’t ever do this as a tourist.

There are nearly perfectly safe favelas if you “need” to do a GUIDED tour there.
